This a unique Aloe Gel in that it is a 100% natural product containing Aloe Vera Leaf Juice and Xanthan Gum, a naturally derived thickener. An excellent natural emollient and moisturiser, particularly useful in soothing topical applications for injured or irritated skin.
A common misconception is the existence of a naturally occuring Aloe Vera Gel. All Aloe Gels are reconstituted Aloe Juice (in varying strengths) combined with a gelling agent. The crystal clear Aloe Gels commonly seen in over the counter preparations are made with synthetic gelling agents such as carbopols. PureNature Aloe Gel is made using Xanthan gum, a natural thickener.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS GEL HAS A SLIGHT YELLOW/GREEN TINGE AND IS A FAIRLY LOOSE CONSISTENCY DUE TO THE NATURAL GELLING AGENT USED. IF YOU WANT A FIRM, CLEAR GEL PLEASE REFER TO OUR CLEAR ALOE VERA GEL INSTEAD.
